INSURANCE COVERAGE

The Affordable Care Act requires that preventative health care for women such as breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling be covered under health insurance. Unfortunately, the guidelines are not clearly outlined, and coverage varies. Visit the national women's law center for further information.

 

A super bill receipt will be provided for reimbursement submission to your insurance. Lactation consultant services are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). New Life Lactation PLLC does not guarantee reimbursement and services provided are not refundable.

 

Payment is due at the time of service by cash or credit card (3.6% fee for credit card processing).  Please contact your insurance company for questions about coverage before your visit. ​
